Rebecca
Wilson is
Chief Curator and VP, Art Advisory at Saatchi Art. She was formerly a Director
at the Saatchi Gallery, London, where she was instrumental in the launch of the
gallery's online presence. In 2007 she created New Sensations, a prize for art
students which identifies and supports the most exciting emerging artists in
the UK. Prior to joining the Saatchi Gallery, Rebecca worked for 14 years in
book and art magazine publishing: she was editor of ArtReview,
and before that deputy editor of Modern
Painters. She has over 10 years of experience working with emerging
artists.
Hayley
Miner is
Director of Art Advisory to the Trade. Before joining Saatchi Art, Hayley ran
her own art consulting firm which she established in 2011, advising private and
corporate clients on building their art collections. She also worked for
Michael S. Smith, the legendary designer for The White House, before starting
her own design and art advising business. Prior to this, she developed her
artistic eye working on feature films for Warner Bros. and Paramount studios as
a Directors Guild assistant director as well as a set decorator. Hayley is a
graduate of University of California, Los Angeles. Artists that she finds most
inspiring are Louise Bourgeois, Mark Bradford, Chris Ofili, El Anatsui and
Analia Saban.
Katherine
Henning is the Associate Curator at Saatchi Art. She was formerly the
Assistant Curator at Saatchi Art. She received her MA in History of Art and the
Art Market: Modern and Contemporary Art from Christie’s Education, New York,
and her BA in English Literature (Creative Writing) from University of Southern
California. Some of her favorite art historical movements are Impressionism,
Abstract Expressionism, and Fauvism. She includes in her list of favorite
contemporary artists Yayoi Kusama, Richard Serra, James Turrell, and Kehinde
Wiley.
Jessica
McQueen is the Assistant Curator at Saatchi Art. She earned her B.A. in
Art History and English at the University of California, Los Angeles. She was
formerly an assistant arts & entertainment editor for the Daily Bruin,
UCLA's newspaper. Jessica loves Surrealism and Impressionism. Her favorite
contemporary artists include Urs Fischer, Barbara Kruger, and John Baldessari.
The team
works in great enthusiasm to bring out Awesum collections and help promote
artists and their works displayed on Saatchi Online Gallery. Its a beautiful
encouraging platform to all artists around the globe and the gallery also
