The Red Pilgrim

Painting over more than two decade and studying about responses emotions and reactions  to different colours I have understood that every colour evokes a different emotion and a different response from us. Like we know red is used to express love, anger or energy and has universal appeal but yellow used for cheerfulness can also be interpreted by some as making them irritable. Some people view purple as a royal colour but it has been observed that some people find purple leading to lethargy and less energy. Hence it is proved that every colour will be interpreted as different for different people and also in different times according to your moods. Powerful post for you to understand the colour red and use it for your benefit! Fountain of Youth Collage artwork Some times we are happy to have red colour around us and it gives us energy but when we are sick or tired the same red colour will drain off our energy and make us feel more tired. Such is the power of colour. One must...

Yet another love, another passion to make art connect to the soul, a genre, healing art. Art is a visual conversation/communication without words  where the artist communicates through connecting to all senses. A silent communication which will take you to another realm, a place of serenity, fantasy or utopia.  The purpose of art is to give you a small trip to your dream or some private place which you have never imagined. The purpose of healing art is to bring about an alchemical reaction with love to live a joyful contended life.  Paintings often speak, symbols connect and each one views them differently. My healing art  challenges your psyche and I too sometimes get to hear explanations that are so vague, different and this has made me agree the fact that each one views art differently. I would often say a rose is a rose whereas viewers comments have made me think that the rose painting is not just a rose,  it is passionate love, shocking red or friend...
