When you display a painting of a single person walking in rain it is already a trying situation that the artist has expressed. It is loneliness, betrayal, sadness and life falling apart. Imagine if you hang such a painting in your home, feng shui south west sector? the sector of relationships?  Even though you may be happily married and have joyous relationships this artwork will trigger off new negative energies that will gradually seep into your daily life and bring out these changes...the changes towards loneliness. Demons in paintings have been an prominent character in mythological paintings and though they are in the religious history of Hinduism demons are always larger than humans and do have a bad energy represented. Demons are mythological fantasy characters and usually in religious paintings depict victory of good over evil.

Displaying demon paintings in your home or office will bring abut a different feng shui energy. Visually the demons are always scary, larger than size images and almost always covered with some blood. Small children are always cared of the images of demons and the large teeth they have that are mostly stained with blood.

In feng shui usually the number to be avoided is four. When we suggest it is either number one for the single strong leader energy or two in pair, or a baby with the pair for family luck. Then we have the strongest prosperity wealth lucky numbers five, seven, eight or nine the ultimate symbol of good luck.

Why is the number four never loved or mentioned in any of the feng shi symbolic cures, and four is never used in any form in homes. The reason for not selecting this four number in any form is that in Chinese language the number four is pronounced as the similar sound of death. Hence when we say four we also tend to say death. Also many times working clients have suggested they cannot burn candles daily and also cannot leave burning candles at home for safety reasons. Green color a symbolic representation of growth and health. Feng shui colors can help to attract energy in form of colors used. Color green in various shades and hues always brings one thought in our mind, nature.

 When used in paintings on canvas there  are umpteen number of shades and hues and hues you can make and it is always said that a good artist never uses greens in nature painting or landscape painting directly from the tube. Great artists always made their own greens. A bit of chrome yellow does wonders to your nature greens.
Also adding a little bit of prussian blue to yellow brings a great green. Adding white would very often spoil my greens and using emerald green, sap green or chrome green was never the solution, trying out various green mixes I have wasted quite a lot sometimes , though used  the (muddy) color for base of new artworks. This tip helps quite a lot, never waste paints , paint it over empty papers or canvas  and use this as base a cover to paint your painting on this, you will see fresh bright colors  and your painting will come out with much better visual impact.

It is very important that you choose the right shade of green color. Use green in paintings and in your home only when you like the color as there are individual personal tastes.    Green being the color of heart chakra among all chakras, your emotions are always reflected in your works and life and with the heart chakra color being green this color helps heal  heart and attracts positive energy to your heart. But it all goes down to personal likes and preferences and there are still many who do not love the color green and opt for any other color rather than green!
