Polaris, (alpha UMi Ursae Minoris, commonly North star is the brightest star in the constellation.It is of utmost importance in celestial navigation , name comes from latin word Polaris, of/near the north pole. In English known as the North star or Pole star.
It stands still almost motionless in the sky and other stars rotate around it hence its of utmost importance. (reference from Wikipedia).
The influence of the stars from above my terrace garden, years of watching the stars , some shining brightly , some dim but yet glowing, some looking reddish and some bluish where as some smiling and some with direct glaring look, these stars are amazing!
I was so fascinated with the one that came just after sun set, most bright and glowing, looking as if it was alone in the majestic sky. Then while I sat at dawn in the darkest hours observing them converse, as the sun began to rise beginning a welcoming day there was again one that shone bright. Over powering the strong sunlight it shone as if till the last speck and then disappeared in the vast blue of the day.
This one sure had to come in my paintings and the most beautiful Reiki symbol of Abundance, so apt with its beautiful energy , I call it "My Polaris".A beautiful guidance star, spirit guide, never lets me down.

Polaris the star symbolizes happiness, stability, growth and strong conviction. Due to its stable presence in the sky it has helped navigators to find destination and pathways assessing the star languages and celestial constellations.
The artwork was done with love for the star, and I wanted to name it 'for the love of my core star', but Polaris seemed best then. Then the spiritual golden lotus, the ultimate symbol of enlightenment.
The original painting on oil sketch paper in oil and acrylic is backed by textured silver hand made paper representing the vast sky. Sky which we observe blue here takes a different color as we move about in the galaxy and more so it seems darker and black. Its here that the North star Polaris seems to shine brightly and is reliable.
The total influence of the guiding star, the symbolism, and the beauty fascinated me, no I did not see this but just the most brightest shining star from above my terrace garden felt connected and communicated.
This Reiki symbol has been in many of my healing paintings, its a beautiful energy to attract and balance all good in life, and I hope this helps and guides the one who best needs this.
